Moreover, TRIBVN works on various themes thanks to its wide range of solutions, as it is shown with the following fullfilments :

puce Integration of laboratory images in the HIS

puce Equipment of a pathological anatomy laboratory

puce Analysis of intra- and inter-observer variability on the basis of digital slides of rare pathologies

puce Multimedia document sharing application for teaching purposes in Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy

Integration of laboratory images in the HIS at Mignot Versailles Hospital Centre

puce Project :
- The potential equipment of laboratories with imaging solutions which can be integrated into the general HIS architecture (in the context of the imaging project for the Hospital Centre)
- Contact partners: Franck Jolivaldt (Data Processing), Florence Boidart (Pathological Anatomy), Isabelle Garcia (Biology)
- 700-bed General Hospital Centre
- IMS in place: TRIBVN ICS for biology, with no server; DIS for pathology
- LIS in place: APIX
- PACS TELEMIS - Identity: Alizé
- Procurement process: Subcontracting of Telemis under the terms of a tendering procedure

puce Solution adopted :
- TRIBVN ICS 1.5 solution, with a centralized server
- 4 capture workstations (macro and micro)
- LIS interface with APIX and Webview Consultation
- Submission of key images to the TELEMIS PACS upon the validation of reports, using the ICS Dicomizer.
- Consultation of these images in patient records.

puce Situation : deployment in mid-2008

Analysis of intra- and inter-observer variability on the basis of digital slides of rare pathologies

Case of Adrenal INCA

puce Project :
- As part of the INCA (National Cancer Institute) programme for the diagnosis of rare pathologies, a study of cancer of the adrenal glands is in progress which is intended to standardize the reading of slides and the establishment of Weiss scores.
- Conduct of an on-line review protocol using digital slides.
- Random selection of cases and on-line review, entry of Weiss scores and mitotic index.
- Contact partners: Xavier Bertagna (Endocrinologist), Frédérique Tissier (pathology), Rossela Libe (INSERM researcher)
- Selection of 50 reference cases, each comprising 5 slides
- 30 pathological reviewers throughout France

puce Solution adopted :
-
Digitization of 250 slides at 40x on an APERIO scanner, subcontracted to TRIBVN
- Zoomify web imaging function on the TeleSlide Online server (www.teleslide.com)
- Conduct of a random protocol using the “Weiss score” review scale

puce Situation :
-Slides digitized and on-line
- Test phase validated
- Commencement of reviews: mid-April 2008
