TRIBVN provides teaching solutions for the morphology medical disciplines. These solutions are based on the application TeleSlide Multimedia that allows to upload online and share image files according to access and practice rules defined by the professors.

Teachers can upload online cases with a content of images (macroscopy, microscopy, digital slides, radiology) and make them accessible to a group of students in mode Course, Atlas, Practical Workshops, or Exams. These multimedia documents are available in the University Intranet and especially in the classrooms but also via the Internet to allow students to work at home to prepare or improve courses.

Many interactions with students are possible, including the fulfilment of shared annotations, the participation to multiple choice questionnaire, the creation of homeworks illustrated in an Office document, the tutoring and the mentoring ... Developed under LINUX, the application is robust and can handle simultaneously multiple connections. Images can be reached through PC, MAC and multimedia tablets.

Thanks to the RemotEye module, our application also allows you to upload whole DICOM Studies.

Several universities have implemented the TeleSlide MultiMedia solution on their own server either as an independant application or as a technology built into a wider Learning Content Management System (LCMS). TeleSlide Multimedia integrates interfaces with LDAP directories and interfaces on WebServices mode.

Most of the time, the equipement project is transverse and contains all microscopy disciplines of the Medicine and Pharmacy Faculties. Users are thus teaching in radiology, pathology, histology, hematology, plant biology, parasitology... TRIBVN contributes to the implementation of e-learning platforms for the microscopy disciplines.
